Hi

Does VIPM support Pre/Post Install Scripts from OPGB packages?

If so is there any information available for templates, and what data is passed to the VI?

Thanks in advance

JG

No, but VIPM has its own "build hook" that you can use to manipulate the build output (such as adding your own documentation for instance).

For more info about it, see the online help here.

Philippe, are you 100% positive about this?
I have used pre/post build install VIs in OGP files created with OGPB and I am positive they are executed by VIPM (forgotten break points do wonders).

Thanks for your reply Philippe
However, as per the cross post, I need to resolve a file path before the package runs on the target PC.
Can you suggest any way to do this?
Regards
