jacket12
Hi, I have a problem with the installing of VIPM-2.0.3-linux on my labview 8.5 installation on linux (Suse 10.3). I have the 8.2.1 Run-Time Engine runtime installed. If I open VIPM-2.0.3-linux, it open up labview 8.5 LLB manager. I am unable to run setup.vi or anything inside of there. The help in the topic "cant install vipm on labview 8.5 linux Link" cannot help me and the help in the NI Forum is especially for centos / red hat 5. If I type the command: ./vipm-2.0.3-linux I get this output: bash: ./vipm-2.0.3-linux: Permission denied Please, can you help me? -- Stephan

Try executing the "chmod ug+x vipm-2.0.3-linux" command to make the file executable and then try running the installer "./vipm-2.0.3-linux". I hope this helps.
