Sara
Hi, Currently, we have a package called company-name_package_name-<version>.vip . I want to create a new package for the ARM support. My idea is to have the name to be company-name_package_name_arm_support-<version>.vip. However, VIPM is changing the package filename to be company_name_package_name_arm_support-<version>.vip. Is there a way to prevent this change? Thanks, Sara
Jim Kring
Hi Sara: Hyphens (aren't allowed in the package name and) are converted to underscores. There is some history around why this is done, related to naming conventions and the hyphen being used in the package version/revision number.
