What's New in VIPM 1.1 Beta 2

VIPM 1.1 Beta 2 is a bugfix release that builds upon VIPM 1.1 Beta 1. All VIPM 1.1 users should upgrade.

Note:

• In order to continue to use VIPM 1.1 Professional after the public beta period ends, you will need to purchase a license (details to come).
  
• VIPM 1.1 Community Edition will be continue to be free after the public beta period ends.
  

New and Changed Features

• Added ability to apply VIPC files from VIPM Community Edition
  
• Added "File>>Apply VI Package Configuration" menu item to VIPM Main UI
  
• Moved "Package>>Add Package(s) to Package List" to "File>>Add Package(s) to Package List"

Resolved Issues

• Case 4686: Save As should open in same folder as existing VIPC file
  
• Case 4655: "Add Missing Dependencies" does not work correctly when version number not specified in dependency
  
• Case 4687: Adding packages to a VIPC does not add dependencies if not installed
  
• Case 4694: Change default TCP timeout to 60 seconds
  
• Case 4698: Scan project does not work well with classes
  
• Case 4698: Scan project does not work well with LabVIEW classes
  
• Case 4702: Scan project shows strange dialog when scanning an XControl file
  
• Case 4727: Opening VIPC files with LV version not installed defaults to ?? without warning
  
• Case 4729: After successfully testing the LV connection help button should not be shown
  
• Case 4749: update help to reflect change in apply menu
  
• Case 4733: update image for Option - Labview
