VIPM Community Edition 1.0 RC 1 improves upon Beta 2 by adding improved installation and proxy server support -- this is a bugfix release. We recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.
- Modal dialogs in some packages (e.g., Zip Tools, Bird's Eye View, and 3D Picture Control) were opening behind the VIPM window and were not easily visible. This made it appear as though the installation had hung (Cases 1802, 1803, 1911)
- Aborting script execution was not possible using Abort button (Case 1436)
- Package files containing read-only files caused errors during installation (Case 2548)
