What's New in VIPM 2.0.1

VIPM 2.0.1 is bugfix release that builds upon VIPM 2.0. All VIPM 2.0 users should upgrade.

  • 5719: Fix tab order and layout of Installation Locations controls
    Fixed the tab order of controls on Installation Locations page of Advanced Build Parameters dialog
  • 5818: Window title of VIs should not be changed if already different from VI name
    The Window Title of VIs built into a VI Package are no longer changed if their Window Title is already different from the VI name
  • 5862: Edit > Advanced Build Parameters menu is disabled in community edition
    The "Edit>>Advanced Build Parameters" menu was sometimes disabled in Community Edition
  • 5886: namespace, LLB, and mnu files should have spaces converted to underscores
    Namespace, LLB, and mnu files now have all spaces characters converted to underscores. The fix for namespace will not apply to existing packages. You must reset your existing packages' namespace, if you wish to use the new convention.
  • 5914: .vipb file is modified even when file contents are unchanged
    .vipb files are no longer re-saved when opening and closing VI Package projects without making any changes
  • 5925: DLL dependencies are not included in VI Package File
    Non-system DLLs that are called by VI Package source VIs are now included in the built VI Package.
  • 5885: Auto Increment Version checkbox does not disable version number controls
    Improved handling of items in the VIPB recent items list that have the same VI Package name, but are in different locations on disk.
  • 5799: VIPB Advanced Build Parameters does not show package name in window title
    VIPB Advanced Build Parameters window now shows the VI Package Name in the window title.
