One thing I miss in the template is a 'Application Close?' event registration.
On a side note it might be a goode idea to add some more templates to the palette (I am thinking about a non-UI without event structure and UI states), or one that is queue driven.
Currently I have setup two loops in the VI, one for GUI handling and one for taking measurements. The communication is done via Queue between the two loops.
