  1. Hi Jim, not seeing wood for trees... the file was actually on the computer. Removing it did the job, thanks! Funny enough, a colleague of mine was struggling with a similar issue, so this worked as well for him. Followup question: can the installation routine of VIPM make sure that the files in the cache folder have appropriate settings / ownerships, so this issue can be mitigated? Cheers Oli
  2. Hi Jim, thanks for the swift response. I have attached the latest error log file for 2523 August-14-2023.txt 2350 shows the same error The file which the error message is referring to is not existing on my computer at this path
  3. I have installed LabVIEW2023Q3 incl. VIPM on a cleaned machine (all former LabVIEW stuff uninstalled, NIPM updated to latest version) When trying to launch VIPM, the Splash Screen pops up and then crashes. Already tried to repair the install and updated to the latest version from this website Any logfile, I can check? Maybe some old VIPM versions not properly uninstalled? Does VIPM now need admin privileges to run? Cheers Oli
  4. Hi, I'm experiencing similar trouble: after the splash screen pops up, VIPM terminates. Unfortunately due to out IT restrictions running as admin is no option. Furthermore I can not find the log files as described... Running on WinXP SP2 with German localization. LabVIEW Runtime 2009SP1 is installed as well. LabVIEW itself is running with a trial license (not experied yet ;-) BTW. when the IT guy installed the program remotely (WinVNC) he was not able to see the installation windows. Directly after installation, VIPM did work (IT guy was still logged on) Thanks for your comments! Regards Oli
