VIve LabVIEW
I have two LabVIEW versions (LV 8.2.1 & LV8.5) installed in a virtual machine I also installed the VPIM 3.0 When I try to make the test connection to define my LabVIEW versions It do not recognize any LabVIEW software installed (See VPIM Options.bmp) I already review an followed the steps suggested related with the VI server configuration (TCP/IP enabled, port 3363, ActiveX enabled and other options), About the VI server: Machine access the localhost or 127.0.0.1 is included (See VI Server_Configuration, VI Server_Machine Access, VI Server_Exported VIs.bmp) Even that no LabVIEW versions were displayed one the VPIM>>Options>>LabVIEW I "force" with a doble click on in the first row (version) of the tables where the LabVIEW versions are shown so a new pop up where I have to specify the port address... (See LabVIEW test connection.bmp) As you wonder... a connection error raises (See LabVIEW connection error.bmp) The interesting is that even no LabVIEW version is recognized in the VPIM>>Options>LabVIEW If one instance of LabVIEW is opened when I try to make the test connnection... A new pop up appears advising about LabVIEW is running (See LabVIEW appears to be running.bmp) So, in some way there are communication, since it recognizes when a LabVIEW instance is opened when a connection test is requested If I select Close LabVIEW and retry, it obeys... LabVIEW is closed from VPIM Did I skip any step to configure correctly? Or This behavior It is due VIPM or LabVIEW are working under VMware? Any idea? Thanks a lot VPIM_Options.bmp VI_Server_Configuration.bmp VI_Server_Exported_VIs.bmp VI_Server_Machine_Access.bmp LabVIEW_test_connection.bmp LabVIEW_connection_error.bmp LabVIEW_appears_to_be_running.bmp
