simroc76
Hello, when I tried to install the LabVIEW Scripting toolkit from VIPM I've received an error due to a missing path: C:\PROGRAM FILES\National Instruments\Shared\License Manager\Licenses where VIPM would place the license file LabVIEW_Scripting_PKG_090000.lc. This path was missing because in an Italian version of Windows XP the NI path is C:\Programmi\National Instruments... I solved the issue manually creating the requested path C:\Program Files\National Instruments... Did someone experience the same? Thanks! Michael Aivaliotis
Could you tell which application generated this error? Was the error coming from LabVIEW or VIPM? I have added this to our support tracking system as Case 10901.
simroc76
Could you tell which application generated this error? Was the error coming from LabVIEW or VIPM? I have added this to our support tracking system as Case 10901. Sure! The error was generated installing the LabVIEW Scripting toolkit and the error was in VIPM. It was unable to install the toolkit apparently because it had to place a license file into a missing path (missing because in Italian version of Windows there is a different path for program files). I've created that path, I've restart installation and then it worked. Thanks! Simone
