There was a permission error trying to install VIPM.

Please check that you have permission to write files in the following location:

.MacHD: Library Preferences

do you have some suggestion to fix this problem?

regards

Daniel

Daniel,

Not sure why it is failing on you.

Hi, I am new to this website.

This showed when I tried to solve the problem and I do not know what to do.

jack:~ hao-chiehhsieh$ sudo chmod 777 /volumes/Macintosh HD/Applications/JKI/VI Package Manager

chmod: /volumes/Macintosh: No such file or directory

chmod: HD/Applications/JKI/VI: No such file or directory

chmod: Package: No such file or directory

chmod: Manager: No such file or directory

Please tell me what is wrong.

Thank you very much.

Hao

sudo chmod 777 /volumes/Macintosh HD/Applications/JKI/VI Package Manager

Then try the install.
