ramses64
Hi, I work in a developpers team, and we have one PRO version (for "architect" that build packages and vipc). When a developper release an executable, there is no way to make a snapshot of packages that were installed when the exe was built, in order to reopen this configuration if 5 years later, he wants to open the sources with the same configuration. Is there a way to save vipm configuration (just the package versions), and install theses configurations when we need ? Best regards,
Jim Kring
You can use VIPM Pro to create a VI Package Configuration file -- it does exactly what I think you're trying to do. Here's some good information about how to use this VIPM feature: http://support.jki.net/entries/20646062-how-to-use-vi-package-configurations-vipc -Jim
