manigreatus
I want to install some toolkits that should appear under a custom category "My Toolkits". I have checked Custom Category and entered its name and set Palette Location as: "Functions\My Toolkits\Progressbar" and edited the functions palette according to my choice. But when I install the package it doesn't appear in the functions palette, rather I just see "My Toolkits" as a sub-palette of "User Libraries" and it has nothing inside. Any ideas to resolve this issue? Thanks!
Ashish
manigreatus, What OS and version of VIPM and LabVIEW are you using? Also, did you set the "Destination" under "Source File Settings" section of VI Package Builder? http://screencast.com/t/dgNCwfCcq4 For dedicated support, contact us at support@jki.net

I have selected destination to be "Toolkit VIs -> User Libraries" and for all the files set the property "Use destination of the parent folder" and also excluded some files. The VIs are being installed but not the palettes.
Ashish
manigreatus, I was not able to reproduce the behavior described by you. I had configured "Toolkit VIs" to "user.lib" folder: http://screencast.com/t/qxxzDvyIDeQu And, configured the "Source File Settings" to "Toolkit VIs": http://screencast.com/t/PnYerfikGIX If possible, please share the package source that can demonstrate the behavior. I tried the same thing with LV 2011 and it worked but it doesn't work with LV 2012. I am sending you the example package on this email: support@jki.net with the same title.
