VIPM crashes on Windows 8 PRO x64

Hey guys,

 

I'm starting this thread encouraged by Sammy_K, the National Instrument LIFA developer. Although I tried 2 (may be 3) different versions of VIPM (2012 and 2013), i couldn't get it to work on Windows 8 PRO x64. The installation process seems normal and no error ocurrs. The problems is that I can not get VIPM started. It just freezes as soon as I double click on the startup icon. There are no error codes or any other number or application involved. It just freezes and I get a message from Windows 8 saying that "an error has ocurred and Windows will notify if a solution exists".

 

I also use a Windows 7 x32 laptop (not so often), and everything work just fine.
