Stobber
I'm using the VIPM API, and I can't figure out how to add a specified list of packages to a VIPC file. All I can do is scan a project or VI for dependencies. I need to automate the build of a VIPC based on the outputs of other build steps, though. None of this code will be called from another VI or project on the build server.
Ashish
Did you had a chance to look at this article: http://support.jki.net/entries/21395113-VIPM-API
Michael Aivaliotis
Thanks Stobber. This seems to be missing from the API. I'd suggest adding this (and other missing API features) to the VIPM Idea Exchange. We take that list very seriously and we're currently in deep development of new features so we want to make sure this is not missed.
Michael Aivaliotis
One workaround is to use the API to install the packages without the VIPC if this is what you ultimately want to do.
