boron45 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2014 Hi, I am trying to install the latest free VIPM version. I have Labview 2010 with (Windows 7) 64 bit. During the first part of the installation process the VIPM installer times out when trying to check for "newer version". The error message mentions making sure "Windows Installer" process is running. I closed Windows firewall. I made sure "windows installer" service is running. Everything looks normal there. I re-registered windows installer. I have used this computer quite extensively for other package installations and have never had a problem. I seem to be stuck. Anyone else ever see this? thanks.
