hooovahh
I found one bug for sure, but I have another issue which may be seen as a bug. If you use the File >> Add Package(s) to Package List option and more than 40 or so packages at one time, then they cannot be displayed properly. If you press enter when this window is up then it will perform the Add Package action because that button is highlighted, but it is not disable in the window. The next issue I believe deals with not clearing some error that is generated. If I add a set of 20 packages using the Add Packages to Package List action, but one of those 20 is an invalid package I will receive an error saying "There was an error adding packages to the package list." It would be helpful if it told you what package failed to install. Then if you attempt to add the working 19 packages to the list, without closing and reopening VIPM it will say "There was an error adding packages to the package list" Even though the remaining 19 packages are fine. If you close VIPM and reopen it you can add the working 19 packages without a problem.
hooovahh
Oh and I forgot to mention, when you add a set of packages, and one cannot be added, the error file that is generated doesn't specify what package could not be added properly. Jim Kring
Hi Brian, This is definitely a bug. I'll file it and report back with a tracking number. Thanks, -Jim
